YCSO Arrest Records Requests
The YCSO Public Records and Report Request process is the fallback for Yuma County sheriff records that an inmate search cannot supply. The Yuma County Detention Center portal is a custody inquiry, not a complete countywide arrest-history database. It updates periodically and offers name, subject number, booking number, in-custody, date-range, and housing-facility fields. Use narrow booking dates for a recent event. When a result is gone or unclear, request the adult arrest or booking record from YCSO rather than drawing a conclusion from the live roster.
YCSO reports a rated detention capacity of 756. Its 2025 average daily population was 424, up 2.91 percent from 412 in 2024. Those numbers describe detention use, not the number of convictions and not a count of unique people arrested. They help explain why the portal changes as people enter, transfer, or leave Yuma County custody.
YCSO's detention visitation source reported 115,785 successful video visits during 2025.
The visitation figure adds scale to the detention system but does not identify anyone held in Yuma County.
Yuma County Booking Record Flow

Timing gaps are normal. Booking can precede filing. Filed counts can differ from arrest charges. A dismissal or acquittal does not erase the fact that a booking record was created. A Yuma County arrest proves that an agency took a person into custody or recorded an arrest. It does not prove guilt. The prosecutor decides whether to file a charge, and the court records the plea, dismissal, acquittal, or conviction.
